Josué Cardona

Josué holds a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and a certification in Rational Emotional Behavior Therapy (REBT) at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. Josué founded Geek Therapy in 2011 as a mental health counseling student, based on the theory that the best way to understand each other, and ourselves, is through the content we have an affinity for.

He created the Geek Therapy Network as a platform to promote and teach the core ideas and values of Geek Therapy through blogs and podcasts. Today, the Network is home to a variety of voices and independently produced content.

Josué's work in engineering, educational technology, data analysis, and design research and his love of comics, video games, and other geeky media inform the way he conceptualizes each case and creates learning material to help others do the same.
